‘Seul au milieu des miroirs’ makes for an intriguing opener, almost an ambient slice, with a poem read over the top and below the surface, before ‘The Mort’ swaggers saucily into view, all thunking bass and elegant, arching vocals. Catchy with a leaden core, it marches along, orbiting synth burbling providing pretty trails for the vocals to push through.
