This was an odd one. The gig was actually Echobelly, Meanswear and Dodgy, one of the NME ‘Brat’ events, but there was talk of ‘special guests’. So it was that Blur sauntered onstage at 7.30 and wafted their way briskly through maybe five songs, then slipped demurely away.
