A very busy indie pop band Salad had three cool albums, a plethora of singles and not so long ago managed a strong comeback with two albums (plus two ‘lost’ collections). I swear they’d have done better if they’d just got a keyboard player in, freeing Marijne up to concentrate on singing. History shows that bands where the singer often gets stuck behind the keyboard never really ignite.
