Ah, the Lollies, lovely ska-punk characters from Coventry, with insanely jaunty songs, and always brilliant live, constantly gigging and making inroads into an indie crossover audience. Bull & Gate were packed when they headlined. They created more collectable t-shirts than any band on Earth and released a series of fine singles (mainly on Damaged Goods) before vanishing.
