Another of those bands who left no trace, SLAM CITY seemed an odd choice for the Bull & Gate, being more a commercial powerhouse type band with pulsating keys, sharp attacking guitar and big, big vocal drama. They were very good, probably intent on hustling in on Major Label territory so strangely out of place here.
