Well these are terrible quality photos! The place was full of so much smoke you could barely locate human life and when I got the negs back from the Finchley Road branch of Snappy Snaps they were scratched to fuck. I liked using the branch because they’d happily run black and white negatives through colour chemicals to create a vivid reddish sepia, which some shops simply refused to do. Unfortunately they damaged quite a few films in one month so I stopped using them. George Michael (R.I.P.) once drove his car into a branch of Snappy Snaps, possibly because he’d heard of my disappointment. “I’m doing it for the photographers!” he roared, putting his foot down.
