DESTROY THE BOY were as much a bouncy post-punk entity as they were tough indie, the songs short and sharp, the imagery sleek and dark, especially guitarist Dean (R.I.P.) looking well goth. Things got lighter and more colourful the longer they went on, but they were always great live, with Brigit a dynamic presence, Ann supremely cool on bass and Seamus unleashing blunt force trauma on his drums.
