While amateur performances of shows are common enough, and there are probably versions of TRHS near you right now, I’d never seen one done at a small music venue before. Not just The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but any show. Jon Beast (R.I.P.) decided to give it a try at the Bull & Gate, when medical staff from the big Hammersmith hospital asked to put it on. Sadly it didn’t pull a large crowd, although those in attendance knew the show inside out, and responded like the fervent maniacs you’ll find attending the regular show. There were also bands booked on these nights, from April 10th - 14th: Electric Dog Sex, George Drake (Stu P. Didiot) & The White Queens, Fascist Nuclear Attack and Deth Banana Icecube.
