PLAYGROUND - DISCOGS

These noisy urchins were a raucous post-punk/industrial hybrid that still had sufficient seismic sense to appeal to people who wouldn’t normally entertain the idea of listening to the noise sector. Singer Richo and guitarist Andy, wonderful characters both, were responsible for the awesome Grim Humour fanzine (which I was honoured to contribute to) that veered from Goth to Noise, with Andy still responsible these days for the long-running Fear & Loathing zine, while Richo runs various labels, most notably Fourth Dimension.
