SO … here’s BRIAN, the disgraceful brainchild of the late, great Jon Beast (R.I.P.). Naturally he commanded the vocal role, with Sean O’Farrell of The Fifteenth, Jesus Sex on drums and Jeff Bastard on bass. A punky indie explosion, basically, with Jon often visiting a local corner shop for the food supplies shortly before a gig.

I may have mixed up two September 1987 gigs into one here, but it matters not. Of Jon wanted to do a Bran gig he could pretty much do one whenever he felt like it. His venue, his planning. Tat said, he didn’t do that many, and I certainly didn’t get the camera out too often with all the muck flying around!
