Wonderfully moody and precocious MARTIAN DANCE had some fantastic songs. Obviously things didn’t work out with EMI (just the one glorious single) but had they stuck around a little longer they’d have been in there with the earliest Goth greats, such was their noir poise. (There’s some good bootlegs out there for collectors!)
