Taken on one of those poxy old instamatic cameras with little flash cubes on top. Nightmare!
Bernie Torme was interesting. He was clearly rock but turned up at quite a few Punk gigs. Punk audiences were well known for either totally ignoring or simply abusing bands who weren’t Punk, but he always went down a storm, which wasn’t that surprising as if you imagine a punchier version of Thin Lizzy that does fit in easily.
Boomtown Rats were clearly on the way up, catchy and dead energetic.
