ON THIS DAY (but not really) ... in 1995 - SAHARA

One of those bands that have vanished without trace, this was the only time I saw SAHARA and know nothing about them. I don’t have anything for the 20th November, so I bring you this gig that actually took place on May 15th, which is close enough. They played with a band called Honey who I thought were fun, but remember coming away thinking Sahara were pretty interesting. Through various posts over the years at the Bull & Gate Facebook group I run some names have cropped up, so it’s entirely possible people called Kendall McBride, Will Taylor and the mysterious ‘Allan M’ were in the band. Beyond that all we have is mystery.
